Wooten Woods Feast of Tabernacles Schedule

### This schedule is very tentative, awaiting confirmation with staff members.

Please check in when you arrive. Everyone must register and receive a name tag. We are operating the camp on an offering basis, but those offerings are necessary for the camp to continue. Cash, credit card or paypal are preferred. Money orders or checks will be accepted, but it is more difficult for us to use those funds for immediate feast expenses.

Time Event Staff

Every Day Schedule:  September 28 through October 5

8:00am – 8:30am Morning prayer (Staff Names will be added when arrangements are finalized.)
8:30am – 9:00am Breakfast served in the Barn
11:00am – 12:30pm Praise and Worship Service in the Barn
1:00pm – 1:30pm Lunch is served in the Barn (except Saturday and Sunday)
6:00pm – 6:30pm Supper is served in the Barn (except Saturday and Sunday)

Sunday, September 27, 2015 (setup and arrival day)

9:00am – finished Setup. (We appreciate volunteers to come and help.)
1:00pm – end Guest Check-in. See notes at the top of this page.
4:00pm – 6:00pm Meet and Greet in the Barn. Snacks provided.
6:00pm – 6:30pm Supper. First meal in the barn.
6:42pm Sunset time for Only, Tennessee
7:30pm – 8:50pm Seminar: New Moons, Full Moons and Blood Moons. Outside (weather permitting)
8:12pm – 11:23pm Visible Lunar Eclipse viewing with telescopes and binoculars. (weather permitting)
9:13pm – 10:22pm Total Lunar Eclipse—“Blood Moon” with telescope viewing. (weather permitting)

9:00am – 10:30am Feast Music Rehearsal in Barn.
9:00am – 10:30am Get Acquainted Games in woodshed. For all ages.
11:00am – 12:30pm Praise and Worship Service. Teaching: "New Testament Feast of Tabernacles". What would Jesus teach at the Feast of Tabernacles? We know what he taught in John chapter 7. We also know that his enemies tried to kill Him then, but Jesus is undefeatable at the Feast of Tabernacles-it symbolizes His return to rule. Norman Edwards
2:00pm – 4:00pm Building a Tabernacle. Learn emergency shelter construction as well as the biblical lessons of tabernacle building. Everyone is invited to help.
7:00pm – 9:00pm Welcome to Wooten Woods from the Wooten Woods staff.

7:00pm – 9:00pm Art Flies where Prose Falters. For centuries, song writers have been able to communicate vital messages when the same message in prose has been banned.

9:15am – 10:30am Bible Study: Staying Pure While Serving Sinners. Jesus was “a friend of publicans and sinners” yet he remained unspotted from them. How do we do that?
11:00am – 12:30pm Praise and Worship Service. Teaching: (to be announced)

7:00pm — 9:00pm The Music of the Bible. Some scholars extensively studied the small markings above the lines of ancient Bible manuscripts and concluded they are musical notation. Learn about their journey and hear samples of this Biblical Music
7:30pm – 9:00pm Bonfire & Sing Along with Acoustic Music.

9:30am – 10:30am Seminar: Healing Through the Blessing and Wisdom of God.
11:00am – 12:30pm Praise and Worship Service. Teaching: Desire Earnestly to Prophecy. Every believer needs to understand this gift, desire it and recognize brethren who do. Believers should avoid both ditches: 1) no prophesying or 2) too much prophesying, much of which is false. The Bible tells us how to do it. Norman Edwards
afternoon and evening If Wooten Woods decided to hold their “Jam Weekend” on this weekend, we will plan appropriate activities for those who do not want to participate in that. It will be a great opportunity to interact with the public in a non-offensive Christian way. Otherwise, additional activities will be added that are of interest to everyone present.

10:30am – 10:50am Airing of Interview with J. D. Blair, Drummer for Shania Twain. J. D. Blair recorded this interview for last year's Feast. He has been a drummer his entire adult life, recording and playing live for multiple musical genres. He is probably best known for his work with country music artists such as Wynonna Judd, Lyle Lovett, Shelby Lynne, Big and Rich, Shania Twain and Victor Wooten.
11:00am – 12:30pm Praise and Worship Service. Teaching: Preaching the Gospel through Music
2:00pm – finished Take down the Tabernacle. The symbolism of taking it down before the “Eighth Day” will be explained.

What will He do about the billions who never knew about Him, or who had bad information about Him? Norman Edwards
2:00pm – 4:00pm Christian Music Jam in the barn. Bring your instrument and tabs or music of your favorite song!
2:00pm – 4:00pm Christian Action Discussion in the Woodshed. What action can we take to serve Christ better? What can we do better here next year?
4:15pm – finished Campus Clean-up. Thanks to those who can help!
6:00pm – 6:30pm Last meal served.
Night Please make arrangements in advance if you need to stay this night at Wooten Woods.

Free Time Activities

We encourage everyone to make new friends and strengthen one another in our faith in God. Wooten Woods contains lots of opportunity for spontaneously organized fun and socialization. These activities will be continuously available:

  • In the barn: Ping-pong, foosball, air hockey
  • Outside: volleyball, half-court basketball, soccer
  • Anywhere: Cards, board games, Bible Bowl
  • With staff setup: Private Jam stations—several musicians can plug in their electric instruments and hear each other in headphones without disturbing the others around them.
